Sawyers Residents,
The cluster has been in contact with several residents via e-mail and passed along information from our landscape company contracted to clear snow. In most cases, with average snowfall, we have been served in a timely manner.
In this instance, with such a heavy, continuous snowfall this past weekend, it seems this company is not well equipped to handle the snow removal in the time frame we would have liked to see.
The cluster recognizes that many residents have been diligently hard at work removing as much snow as possible from their own, as well as neighbors', sidewalks or parking spaces, and even the road way in areas where the plows were not able to pass at all.
Per communication from Genesis today:
We still have areas on properties that are blocked or trapped in. We will continue to work through today and into tomorrow to try to free up these sections of properties. We are aware of these areas and will continue to work our way to each property.
Because of these blockages we are unable to consider opening up parking and widening streets at this time.
Again, clearing has become all about tractors. Our trucks can not push all the snow pack. If you are able to find someone sooner than us that can tractor your property, It might be your best opportunity. We will be continuing to go down the list one at a time.
If homeowners have any suggestions for companies we can contract with today to help clear out the rest of the snow or spread sand/salt, please contact us via e-mail or on the cluster phone line.
Certainly, we will be looking to make alternative arrangements for future snow removal, but we would appreciate any assistance with the current situation residents can provide.
We appreciate everyone's hard work and patience.
